Marketing email: Email marketing software on the API you already use.

Send campaigns to contacts and segments, automate follow-ups from your product's events, and design on your own brand, in the account that sends your receipts.

What you get

Everything a campaign needs. The list, the email, the follow-up and the report, beside the mail your product already sends.

Send to the right people. Pick a segment and a topic, write the email or start from a template, then send now or schedule it up to 30 days out.

Checked before it goes.

Nothing queues until the domain is verified, a postal address is on file, the segment resolves and there is a body. You can read the same checklist first.

A report for every send.

See who was sent, delivered, opened, clicked, bounced, complained or unsubscribed, and why anyone was left out.

An audience you own. Contacts with typed properties, segments built from a filter or by hand, and topics people choose for themselves.

Bring your list.

Import a CSV and say which column is which. Every row is counted as created, updated, skipped or failed.

One-click unsubscribe.

Every campaign carries one-click unsubscribe headers and a link to a preference page we host. No login needed.

Follow-ups that run themselves. Start on a custom event from your product or when someone enters a segment, then wait, branch and send, one contact at a time.

Your events, your triggers.

Declare an event once and fire it from your code. Built-in triggers cover a contact created, a topic subscribed and a segment entered.

Every run inspectable.

A run is one contact's journey, step by step, with its timings and the id of every email it sent.

Drag, drop, on brand. Build emails in a visual editor that uses your brand kit, publish a version, and send it as a campaign, from an automation or from your code.

Set your brand once.

Logo, two colours, a font, a button style and your footer, set once for the project and used by every template.

Versions that stay put.

Publishing freezes a version. Every email records the exact one it used, so a later edit never rewrites what was sent.

Campaigns keep their own reputation. Campaign mail is measured apart from your receipts and password resets, so a campaign's bounces never count against the mail your product depends on.

A subdomain for news.

Send campaigns from a subdomain such as news.northwind.dev to keep your domains' reputations apart as well.

Suppressions respected.

Unsubscribed and suppressed addresses are skipped at send time, and the report says why.

Questions

Before you send. What people ask first.

Is a campaign sent differently from a transactional email?

A campaign works out who it goes to, then sends one ordinary email per recipient through the same pipeline as the rest of your mail. Suppressions, delivery events and webhooks behave exactly as they do for a single send. The difference is reputation: campaign mail is measured apart from your transactional mail.

Can I schedule a campaign, and can I stop one?

Yes to both. A campaign can be scheduled between one minute and thirty days out, and a scheduled or queued one can be canceled. A cancel while it is already sending stops at the next page of recipients, and the emails already created still go out.

How do people unsubscribe?

Every campaign carries one-click unsubscribe headers and a link to a preference page we host. The page needs no login: a contact can opt out of everything, or change the topics they are subscribed to. A global opt-out wins over every topic choice.

What happens to a contact I delete?

Deleting a contact is an erasure, not a hidden row. The personal data goes, and the consent records stay against a hash of the address, so an unsubscribe you honored can still be proven after the person is gone.
